Ayers Rock

Ayers Rock weddings offer many wedding venue options for your destination wedding in Australia.

Ayers Rock, also called by its Aboriginal name Uluru, is the world’s largest monolith, rising 318m above the desert floor. It is also a magnetic mound. Hundreds of tourists flock to this beautiful sight to climb the enormous rock and take in its breath-taking views. Most people stay from dusk ‘til dawn at this amazing site because of the change in colors of the rock. Depending on the time of day, the rock can be a reddish brown color, and change to anything from blue to glowing red to purple. The Olgas, a cluster of rock formations is also nearby. The surrounding area has a Cultural Center, which displays the culture and history of the Aborigines. This stunning rock is the canvas for many paintings done by the Aborigines, which are renewed regularly with paint to help to preserve the beauty and distinctness of it and the culture it portrays.
