Huatulco

Huatulco weddings offer beautiful beaches for your dream destination wedding.

Huatulco offers nine gorgeous bays, and thirty-six golden-sand beaches, many of which are strewn with boulders and ringed by pristine coral reefs. This makes for excellent snorkeling and scuba diving. La India, one of the beaches, is surrounded by a large coral reef in Bahia Chachagula. It is accessible only by lancha, but it is considered by many to be Huatulco’s most beautiful beach. It is usually visited as part of a bay-hopping tour. For those of you who enjoy bird watching you will want to visit the small lagoon behind the beach at Bahia Cacaluta, which attracts a wide variety of waterfowl and other birds. Huatulco for the most part is slightly more than a decade old. The city has set aside about 70% of the land as an ecological reserve. All new construction must adhere to strict codes which include no buildings taller than six stories and plenty of open space and natural vegetation in between buildings. More recently cruise ships have begun stopping at Huatulco as part of their sailings along the Mexican Riviera. Water sport as well as eco-adventures to nearby coffee plantations and dense tropical forests allows something for everyone to do . Do not forget there is always relaxing on one of the many beaches!
